I'm now allowed to say the joke. Forever. :iconarrowinthekneeplz:

The Helmet and shinguards are made from EVA foam mat and the rest is just fabric and fur (fake fur, don't you worry! n.n)

The arrow's a part of it, I had a broken arrow (conveniently) and attached it to a band around my leg.

:iconpinkieishappyplz: It's a work in progress. The shoulders haven't got chainmail yet and there are a few bits and pieces that could use general touch-ups

Comments are appreciated!!!

I hate it when you think of an idea and then realize someone has already done it. Still a good costume. Im still probably gonna make my own though.

Hey, cosplay would be a boring boring thing if only one person would make it. If you get around to it I'd love to see!

Im really short for time at the moment. I have to find a way to make the chainmail. I might knit it or just be lazy and find a meshy looking grey fabric.

May I ask where one might get some EVA foam and fake fur? I'm trying to pull together a costume like this as well, actually :D

Sure thing, I got the foam from Big Lots while looking for some tools, it was lying on a shelf in rolls like a rug :D Before I could only find it at Harbor Freight which was kinda far away from me, and the mats there were 1/2 inch thick. The ones from Big Lots were 1/4 inch thick, and it's a world of difference. The 1/4th is so much less of a hassle to cut and shape, so I'd definitely keep my eyes peeled for that.

As for the fur, I picked it up at Joann fabrics (blegh) in the craft section, but I know Michaels has them as well. They come in little rectangular sheets :3

Hope this helped, good luck, and if you finish it up drop me a link, I'd love to see it! :iconilikeitplz:
